Some work to do at the La Crosse Queen at La Crosse's riverside Park today. The floating ticket booth and gift shop at the Queen sunk overnight. Senior V-P of operations for the tour boat, Bill Fieck was on the scene this morning. He wasn't sure how the ticket booth sun.  Could have been a floating log that hit the barge.   Maybe vandalism.   Lifting it out of the water will probably tell the tale today.

 

 

 

La Crosse Queen is close to starting operations for the season. Fieck says dunking of the ticket office and gift booth won't affect that.
