PRIMARY WINNER HOPES TO DUPLICATE HER SUCCESS IN APRIL'S GENERAL ELECTION
It's not easy knocking off the incumbent. That's why Onalaska town board candidate Sandy Thompson has a plan for April's general election. She isn't taking any campaign contributions and vows that she won't spend more than one thousand dollars on her campaign . Thompson figures that will mean taking a cost effective approach with plenty of time spent knocking on doors and meeting the people you would like to represent. In Tuesday's primary Thompson got 198 votes compared to 178 for incumbent Howard Kelly.
