La Crosse County Healthiest in One Category

At least La Crosse county is number one in something. And medical care is it. At least according to a county-by-county national look at health in the US. La Crosse is at the top of Wisconsin counties when it comes to delivery of health care. The county is also right up there when it comes to the physical environment which includes measurables like leads poisoned children and liquor store density. In those categories, La crosse county is third best in the state. Overall, the county ranks 22nd healthiest in Wisconsin.
