LA CROSSE ROBBERIES

Search is on for Suspects in Two Robberies in La Crosse
La Crosse cops are on the trail of robbers in the city. Police say one guy knocked over the Bead Shoppe on south 19th street right before eight o-clock last night. Told the clerk he had a gun, never showed it, wound up grabbing the store's register and taking off running. That thug's described as a white guy, about 5'11", thin, wearing a camo jacket. Just after midnight this morning, cops say two masked men tried to rob Ike's Jabber Jaws bar on the northside, showed the bartender a gun. He told them to take hike. The two left with nothing. Two very general descriptions on those two as well: Both wearing black, around 5'8". One guy's black. The other, they're not sure. Call La Crosse cops with any info.
