Huebsch: Need for Nuke Power Obvious
Some say less coal, some say more wind, more solar, more biomass burning to create power. All kinds of options getting tossed around. Except the obvious one, says West Salem state rep Mike Huebsch; nuclear. He says if the state wants to head for carbon free power generation then nuclear plants have to be at the center of the discussion. Huebsch has been pushing a repeal of the state's moratorium on nuclear power since 2003. The Republican is back at it again, saying the need for more nukes in the state is greater than ever.
