Nickel Disagreement Means No "Eye" on Time Warner
A bunch of cable subscribers can kiss Wisconsin's version of C-Span goodbye. The Wisconsin Eye Network has cut Time Warner cable off. Wisconsin Eye, which provides live coverage of legislative goings-on among other activities in Madison, has been providing its content for free on Time Warner with the understanding that it would eventually get paid under a long-term contract. The network inked just such a deal with Charter but Time Warner turned out to be a harder nut. Wisconsin Eye wants five cents per subscriber.
