SEAT BELT LAW CHANGE COMING?
One Wisconsin legislator doesn't want to see the state's seat belt law expanded. Representative Scott Suder doesn't have a problem with the current law which gives cops the power to ticket people for not wearing their seat belt as long as they were pulled over for something else. But, the republican does have a problem with a proposed law change that would give cops more authority. Suder believes police officers have better ways to spend their time besides pulling over drivers who aren't buckling up. The assemblyman fears democrats will push this law change now that they have control of both houses of the legislature.
