7 To Be Inducted Into UW-L’s Wall of Fame

Six student athlete alumni and a former athletic administrator will be inducted into the UW-La Crosse Wall of Fame Sunday, Oct. 12. The alumni, their sports and years they were an athlete: • Jill Jacobson, Tennis, 1985-89 • John Janke, Football, 1990-93 • Mark Morehouse, Swimming, 1993-97 • Glenn Mueller, Bowling, 1966-70 • Andrew Rock, Track & Field, 2001-04 • Laura Pastore Ziegler, Gymnastics, 1991-95

The Wall of Fame pays tribute to former athletes and coaches for their exceptional ability and enhancement of school tradition. In addition former Athletic Director Bridget Belgiovine will receive the Donald Gordon Merit Award, which recognizes long-time supporters of UW-L athletics.

This year’s inductees will be honored during a brunch at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, in the Cleary Alumni & Friends Center. Tickets are $25 per person; $10 for those 12 and under. Reservations are due Friday, Oct. 3, at the UW-L Alumni Office, 608.785.8490 or http://www.uwlalumni.org.
