Book Kept On Probation, Warned About Prison

Is a young woman being singled out by La Crosse police, because she was convicted of letting her newborn baby starve to death?

The defense lawyer for Indra Book thinks the 22-year-old is being punished 'harshly' for violating her probation on a reckless homicide charge. Book is back in jail this week, for curfew violations and drinking...and attorney Vincent Rust is not pleased.

Judge Scott Horne will put Book back on a curfew, and on electronic monitoring. He warns that Book could go to prison if she doesn't change a partying lifestyle.
