UW-L Student Athletes Tops In WIAC GPA

UW-L keeps churning out top student-athlete scholars in the entire WIAC. In

2013-14, The Eagles recorded the highest number of student-athletes with a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better. That's 348 students. And that's tops the past 12 of 13 years. How do they play sports and have time to study? We asked Chancellor, Joe Gow.

During the 2013-14 academic year, nearly 50 percent of the 5 thousand student-athletes competing in the conference achieved a 3.00 grade point average or better and were named to the Scholastic Honor Roll.
