Noon Concerts Along River Changed To 'Moon Tunes' This Summer

The tunes in June are under the moon, instead of at noon...

A series of summer concerts along the La Crosse riverfront is happening on Thursday evenings this year.  The series sponsored by the Valley View Rotary was called 'Noon Tunes' for the first two years...but Rotary spokeswoman Melissa Webster says midday was not an ideal time for many people to attend:

The 'Moon Tunes' concerts last from 5:30 until 8 p-m.  They'll skip Riverfest week, but otherwise the shows are scheduled each Thursday through the end of August.
