Don't Host Underagers In Tomah
A new city ordinance in Tomah punishes those that host underage drinking
parties. Adults would receive a municipal citation and fine of $500 to $5,000 for hosting or allowing underage people to drink. Police Chief Mark Nicholson says the ordinance is pretty cut and dry.
He says the ordinance will address underage drinking problems in the community. Tomah joins La Crosse, Sparta and Onalaska in initiating a social hosting ordinance.
