2 Arrested By Police On Drug Charges

La Crosse Police Drug investigators have found who fled from the scene of a drug investigation on La Crosse’s northside on Thursday night.

The La Crosse Police Emergency Response Team was executing a search warrant at 432 Rose Street #4 when the suspect’s vehicle arrived at that location. Officers approached the suspect’s vehicle and ordered it to stop. The vehicle failed to stop and fled from the scene, nearly striking two investigators. The fleeing vehicle struck the side of the Rose Street overhead as it was trying to squeeze between two other vehicles, and it also struck a police vehicle, causing minor damage. La Crosse Officers were unable to pursue the suspect’s vehicle which was later found abandoned on La Crosse’s northside. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted the La Crosse Police Department in investigating the crash. Three occupants inside the suspect’s vehicle were identified as Ernest Knox, Dominic M. Boyland, and Brittany Hendricks. Brittany Hendricks was apprehended a short time later while walking near Rose Street and Monitor Street. Located during the search warrant was 2.5 grams of crack cocaine.

On Friday night, police arrested Boyland and Knox.  Both are expected in court on Monday.
