Sochi Medalist Antoine Celebrated In PDC This Weekend

One area town celebrates a native's Olympic success this weekend...

In Prairie du Chien, men's skeleton medalist Matt Antoine will attend a community reception tonight, and serve as grand marshal for the St. Patrick's Day parade tomorrow. Antoine's sport requires him to slide down a course on his stomach at more than 100 miles an hour, with his arms kept to his side. He tells us that he knows a race has gone well, if he doesn't remember much of anything about it.

Antoine says he and his family had a very good time attending the Sochi Olympics, and he thinks the media overplayed the complaints of other athletes there.
