Back In Jail Again

The driver accused of killing a motorcyclist in a La Crosse County crash

two years ago is accused of violating his probation. Heath Erlandson of Westby was given probation last May, after being convicted of vehicular homicide.  He was admitted to the La Crosse jail yesterday, for an undisclosed violation, and he could be in court later today.

Erlandson pled guilty to crossing the center line of a county highway in 2011, and hitting a cycle driven by Paul Betsinger.

Police believe Erlandson was driving under the influence of drugs when the crash occurred.
