Garbage Can Picking Time

Picking a garbage can will be as easy as returing a mailer in La Crosse.  The city is sending mailers out starting next week looking for feedback from 17 thousand households on preference of size for garbage carts in the city's new automated system.  Default size is the big ones: 95 gallons.  We asked city public works director Dale Hexom if that's the size the city would prefer

With all plastics, along with cardboard and paper going into the recycling bin, he says it might be in your best interest to get the 95 gallon at least for that stuff.  There are two smaller sizes.
