Sewage Rate Increase Delayed Again

La Crosse wastewater utility customers are catching another break.  The city will again hold off on implementing a second tier increase in sewage rates.  It's the third delay for the second phase of a three part increase.  Because the utility is in a good cash position right now, says mayor Tim Kabat, and simply doesn't need the money.  That could change

Four years ago, a 29 percent, three-phase sewer rate increase was approved by the city.
