Super Bug Cases Being Investigated

Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee has confirmed it has isolated a patient infected with a deadly superbug bacteria that they say say did not originate in the hospital. They say the bacteria typically originates outside the country. Gunderson Health System's Bridget Pfaff says it's not the first case of the deadly super bug in the Badger State.

Thirty patients on the same floor as the infected individual are being tested for the bacteria. The patient's case is not a threat to the community or others in the hospital. Pfaff says the state is looking into samples of the CRE bug to learn more about it.
