WTC Awarded For Energy Savings

Western Technical College has achieved an 18 percent cost savings totaling $527 thousand in 35 months since forming an alliance with Cenergistic, a national energy conservation company. Michael Peeper with the college says it's not one or two areas they are watching and it's not just happening on one campus.

According to the figures, in the first 35 months of the program,
Western saved enough energy to see 587 cars get removed from the road plus enough energy savings to see 83,702 pine trees be grown for 10 years.
