Praise For Area Compliance Checks

It's becoming harder for minors to buy tobacco and alcohol in area stores now. That seen by the latest compliance checks conducted by area law enforcement and the La Crosse County Health Department. La Crosse Police Sergeant Randy Rank says the process they use is quite simple.

Folks from the health department have found that employees are doing an excellent job asking for an ID; however they say, skills need to be improved to accurately check IDs. The health department is praising several establishments in Onalaska and Holmen who have routinely followed the law and decreased youth access to tobacco products.
