Tomah School Buildings Get Upgrade

Close to $400 thousand worth of new security measures are being installed in all 11 Tomah School District buildings this summer. Superintendent, Cindy Zahrte says their goal is not to hire any additional staff. Changes in the buildings will allow existing staff to control access. And all buildings will have something new by the fall.

She says most buildings will add additional interior doors that will allow office staff to control access to classroom areas. Other buildings will have two way communication outlets at the exterior doors.
