Council to Tackle Moratorium

It wouldn't necessarily be a permanent change.  But the city of La Crosse could for the next year stop single family homes from turning into rentals.  A one year moratorium on rental conversions is on the agenda for the city council this month.  It would give the city time, says mayor Tim Kabat, to come up with permanent solutions to ever growing rental numbers.

Kabat says he's hearing about ever-increasing negaitve impacts in neighborhoods because of the growing number of rental properties.
