Advocate Hopes Senate Turns Back Guv's Medicaid Plan
The sky has not yet fallen for many advocacy groups around Wisconsin. There's still hope among groups like Citizen Action of Wisconsin that the state legislature--especially the state senate--will turn down governor Walker's planned rejection of a federally-funded medicaid expansion in the state; a plan that's included in the state's two year budget bill. Kraig says, even if lawmakers agree to reject the medicaid expansion, it will only be a matter of time before the state changes course and takes the money.
