That's what Keith Marchbanks is facing for a night of violent activity near West Salem almost three months ago. Marchbanks was shot by police when he threatened them with a knife, after reportedly injuring his wife and setting fire to her house. Defense attorney Keith Belzer believes the half-million dollar bond should be lower, because of his client's physical condition.  Marchbanks is in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down because of the shooting.  Judge Scott Horne says the charges against Marchbanks are serious enough to warrant a high bond. Horne ordered a competency examination for Marchbanks. The next court hearing is scheduled for July 16th.
