ACLU Target Suggests Nothing to Find in Records Search

The ACLU might be looking in the wrong places for military involvement with civilian police.  The organization is asking police departments around the country for records of coordination with the military.  The La Crosse county-led West Central Drug Task Force is one of those agencies.  La Crosse chief deputy Jeff Wolf is the project director with the task force.  He says there's not much there to show the ACLU

Wolf says the focus of the task force is to share resources among the five counties in the group, not to be a civilian branch of the military fighting drug crimes.
