Minimum Wage Hike Gets Backing of Lawmakers in St. Paul

A significant minimum wage hike may be good for workers in Minnesota.  But spectacularly bad for business, says one lawmaker.  Republican state rep Greg Davids says a fifty percent minimum wage increase plan is just the latest in anti-business moves by democrats

A key committee in St Paul this week has agreed to a state minimum wage bump from $6.15 an hour to $9.50 an hour by 2015.   After that, the wage would index for inflation.
