La Crosse School District Brings Home Favorable Scores
Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam results were released this week, judging students with stricter standards this year as part of the state’s ongoing education reforms.
We asked Dr. Troy Harcey where exactly the La Crosse School District test scorescame in.
About 42 percent of students in the District scored proficient or advanced in math, compared to a state average of about 48 percent. About 35 percent of students in the District scored proficient or advanced in reading, compared to the state average of about 36 percent. Harcey says he knows there's still work to be done.
