Ice Cream Store Robber Gets New Prison Term For Pistol Whipping

A return trip to prison for Justin Purdy...

The 22-year-old La Crosse man spent time behind bars for an armed robbery at an ice cream shop...and months after getting out, he robbed and pistol-whipped a teenager in Onalaska last summer. Purdy will now serve five years in prison for that holdup. Purdy apologized for the new crime and asked for a chance to be with his family, but Judge Elliott Levine says Purdy didn't seem to change his ways after his first time in prison.
