Doyle Likes Company Wellness Programs

Company wellness programs would provide a tax credit to small businesses for 30 percent of the costs of a workplace wellness program, support Wisconsin employers efforts to reduce their health care costs and those of their employees. Local lawmaker, Steve Doyle says he's all for Senate Bill 73.

A workplace wellness program is a health or fitness program, as certified by the  Department of Health Services, that is provided with health risk assessments. Senator Jennifer Shilling is a co-sponsor of the bill, introduced last month.
