Cashton Went 1 For 2

In Cashton, they batted .500 last week at the polls. A $12.3 million referendum passed while a second question, asking voters to approve a recurring referendum for revenue of $100 thousand to staff and maintain new building space, failed. Superintendent, Brad Saron talks about why he thinks voters snubbed their noses at that one.

He says he figured the first one would pass since out of 1,900 surveys mailed out, 77 percent supported the referendum for changes and updates to the current school district buildings. It passed by 2 votes.
