Council Committee to Consider Cameras

A city council committee tonight has the opportunity to support a plan to put surveillance cameras throughout downtown La Crosse.  James Cherf, who represents the downtown area on the council, believes the time has come for cameras

The effort of a private organization to purchase a security system for the downtown came after the double murder of Paul and AJ Petras at May's camera shop last year.
