UW Regents In Town

UW-La Crosse is hosting the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents

meeting on campus today and tomorrow. The meeting brings not only the board, but about 100 chancellors, provosts and other faculty and staff from UW schools. UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow will give a presentation to the board, Moving Forward Together followed by a discussion of the 2013-15 biennial budget.


The university will also demonstrate its progress on strategic goals, including consistently high retention and graduation rates since 2006. About 86 percent of UW-L’s new entering freshmen return for their second
year. UW-L has a six-year graduation rate of 69 percent.
