Evidence Delays Push Moss Homicide Trial Back To June

The man who has been in the La Crosse County jail longer than any other current prisoner will stay there a few more months...

Cain Moss is now scheduled to be tried this June for the drug overdose death of Tony Du Charme in 2011. Jury selection had been set for next Monday, but the D.A.'s office hasn't received certain evidence back from the state crime lab.  Moss was arrested in August of 2011, just after Du Charme's body was found hidden on a hillside.  It's not certain yet whether Christina Lorenz will be called as a witness against Moss. Lorenz is serving prison time for her role in taking drugs with Du Charme the day he died.
