Misty Morales says she saw the tape in which her son was beaten up on a Sparta school bus last week. And though she claims the superintendent told her it was just bad behavior, John Hendricks tells us he's pleased about how the matter was handled once police stepped in.

Hendricks did say the district did respond to the incident, but citing student confidentiality, could not say what action was taken. Sparta Police Chief Michael Kass says that the school district has already taken some action against one of the students involved.
