Prison In The Cards For Schodeberg

He may not remember driving a car that crashed and killed his brother, but
prison may still be in the cards for a Sparta man.
27 year old Jason Schodeberg admitted in court Thursday that, yes, he was responsible for a 2009 drunken driving crash that killed his older brother, Glen. He pleaded no contest in Monroe County to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle as a repeat offender. He also pleaded no contest to felony substantial battery in an unrelated case.
The recommendation for sentencing is that he serve five years in prison and five years on extended supervision when he is sentenced at a later date.
