Doyle Thinks Walkers Plan Is Lip Service
Governor Scott Walker said on Wednesday that his health care plan would cover fewer people than a full expansion of Medicaid as provided under the federal health care law. He says it would cover over 252 thousand people. Democrat Steve Doyle says it sounds like the same script from the governor when he guaranteed 250 thousand new jobs to the state last year.
The Republican governor said that his approach would reduce the role of government in people's lives and make them more independent. Area democrats disagree with the entire plan.
