The La Crosse Loggers are not only coming off a league championship year, but also a 10 year lease on Copeland Park expired. General Manager, Chris Goodell, says they have met with the city several times this winter and both sides have had good talks.

Goodell said that because negotiations are ongoing, neither he nor the city could give details of what issues are on the table in regard to terms and length of lease. Opening night is slated for May 29th. Their first home game is set for Sunday, June 2nd.
