Two Dozen Cars Towed During First La Crosse Snow Emergency
A total of a couple dozen cars got hooked for
La Crosse's first snow
disposal emergency. City public works director
Dale Hexom declared the snow emergency for the early morning hours of Friday and
Saturday. Friday morning, just two cars got towed under new rules that
allow not only towing but triple fines as well. But Saturday morning, 22
cars got hauled away. With fines and fees, each tow will cost drivers up
to two hundred dollars.
