Indian Site Garners Statewide Award

An interesting award for a local group that lives to find old bones and pottery.
Kathy Stevenson with the UW-L Mississippi Valley Archeology Center in La Crosse says the award came because of the great work that was done when an ancient indian village was uncovered during the construction of a new highway through Onalaska last summer.
