Lawmaker Wants to Cut Pay, Hours of Legislature

Wisconsin has a full-time legislature that really doesn't put in full-time hours.  At least that's how it seems to Milwaukee democratic state rep, Leon Young.  Young has proposed making legislators like him part-time.  And cutting pay from about 50 thousand dollars a year to 12 thousand.

Young says it makes little sense to pay legislators full time pay for a year like last year when they were only in session for seven days.
