Post Office Food Drive Beats Last Year

Another increase this year, for a food drive by La Crosse area letter carriers.

They collected 45-thousand pounds of food just in the city of La Crosse on Mother's Day weekend. That was three thousand pounds above the amount collected a year ago. The letter carrier drive is a major source of food during the year for community pantries, and organizations like the Salvation Army.
