Holmen Fluoride Issue May Go Back To Referendum

Voters in Holmen spoke out about fluoridation five years ago...and they may be asked to speak out again.

The Holmen Village Board has scheduled a special meeting this discuss the possibility of a new referendum on putting fluoride in the water. Just last week, the board voted to resume the fluoridation that was temporarily halted two years ago. The special meeting is being requested by two of those board members who called for a halt to fluoridation...which was approved in a 2008 referendum.
