Home Improvement Grants Going To Washburn Neighborhood

One historic La Crosse neighborhood is getting fix-up money from a local charitable group.
Up to 20 homeowners in the Washburn neighborhood south of Cass Street can qualify for Community Foundation grants for painting and other exterior improvements. Grants can run as high as 800 dollars. The Washburn Neighborhood Association will review the applications for funding, and monitor how the improvement projects are going.
