Escott Ends Suspension, Quits Job at City Hall
Now, just one person remains on administrative leave from the city of La Crosse. We've learned that former community development administrator Liana Escott has resigned from her job as of late Sunday night. Escott and municipal prosecutor Pete Kisken had been removed from city hall back in May for unspecified misconduct. Kisken has since hired an attorney specializing in labor law and filed a complaint against the city with the state's Department of Workforce Development. Both Kisken and Escott have been receiving full pay and benefits since getting suspended last spring.
