All Quiet Since Walker Recall Election, Says Huebsch

Did the recall election for governor last June put an end to the fighting in Madison?

Mike Huebsch thinks so. The state secretary of administration believes the heated battles of the last two years cooled down quickly, once Scott Walker won that special recall race.

Speaking on WIZM's La Crosse Talk, Huebsch said the next state budget should not have many surprises in it. Governor Walker is putting together that budget now, to be brought to the legislature in February.  Huebsch expects training for new jobs to be a high priority for state government.
