Holmen Board May Cast Fluoride Vote Next Week
They probably didn't expect to wait two years for the information they wanted...
In 2011, Holmen Village Board members put a stop to local fluoridation, until they could get advice from the state on how much fluoride should be in tap water. A report calling for lower fluoride levels has now been issued. If the board votes to resume fluoridation, it could take just a week or two to start the process again, according to
Dean Olson in the public works office. The village board could make a decision at a meeting next Thursday.
