The number of people seeking hospital emergency room treatment and being admitted to the hospital for flu like symptoms has significantly increased over the past weeks. Kelly Dickson with Mayo Clinic Health Systems says they are watching the numbers of flu cases rise.

65 cases have come into the La Crosse Hospital since November......385 hospitalizations for infants, children and adults statewide since October 5th. One child has died.
