Among many on the La Crosse city council, there's a deep desire to move ahead with creating a new economic development commission in the city.  But the council instead is putting off a decision on creating the commission for at least two months.  Better to be deliberate on this one, says city council member Dick Swantz

The plan for a commission also comes with a plan for creating economic incentive standards for developers in the city.
