1410 WIZM

 A resolution for an audit of the Mississippi Valley Conservancy in La Crosse.  The DNR, the MVC and the city of La Crosse have inked an agreement after more than a year of an audit that saw the MVC lose its state and local sources of funding for land stewardship.  The resolution reached among the three groups will allow for the MVC to once again collect funding to help its stewardship efforts.  The organization also agrees that legitimate questions were raised by its use of state funds.   The resolution also results in seven bluffland properties getting transferred to the city of La Crosse, including hundreds of acres surrounding the Mathy quarry just to the east of the city.
