Monroe County Crash Hurts 3

3 people were sent to the hospital Friday night after being involved in a 2 car crash in the Monroe County Town of LaGrange. A car driven by 26 year old Jeremiah Poole of South Carolina was east bound on Highway 21 when he slowed for a car in front of him that was turning into a driveway. A pick up truck driven by 37 year old Jeremy Robbins of North Carolina was also east bound when Robbins dropped his lighter. Robbins bent down to pick it up and when he looked up he was not able to stop for the Poole vehicle and collided into it.

Poole and his two passengers, 26 year old Natasha Kennedy of Georgia and 22 year old Amber Whited of New Lisbon were taken to Tomah Memorial Hospital. No word on their injuries.

Robbins was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving. Poole and Whited were issued citations for failure to wear seat belts.
